Giorgia Piccioni is a PhD student at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo,” under the supervision of Prof. Barbara Citterio. She has a Master degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (LM-13) with a Master degree experimental thesis entitled “Fingerprint and antibiotic resistance phenotype in Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium of porcine derivation”. She began her PhD project focuses on antibiotic resistance spread and possible reservoirs in the environment.
