Arianna Scardino is a PhD student at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, under the supervision of Prof. Emanuela Frangipani. She obtained her Master degree in Molecular, Health and Nutrition Biology (LM-6), University of Urbino Carlo Bo, presenting an experimental thesis entitled “Molecular identification of persistence determinance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa “. Her PhD project focuses on finding innovative approaches to counteract bacterial growth and antibiotic resistance and is applied to the environmental problem constituted by Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion (MIC).
