Luca Ronda is associated professor of Applied Physics at the Department of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Parma.
His research is focused on structural and functional characterization of proteins, in particular on hemoglobins, through spectroscopic techniques. He also worked at the development and characterization of hemoglobin-based oxygen carriers.
